• 3 lbs. of fresh squid cleaned and cut into rings
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 cup of flour
  • salt & pepper
  • lemon wedges

Heat 1 inch of vegetable oil in a deep skillet.

Dip the cut calamari in flour, and shake off excess flour and fry until golden.

Drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil, add salt and pepper to taste, then serve with lemon wedges.
